Must have an SRPFCU Checking Account, Savings Account, and SRP Debit Card to enroll in SRP CentSaver. SRP CentSaver Savings Program Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions are in addition to, and do not supersede or replace, any other agreements applicable to any of your accounts with us. By your use of the SRP CentSaver Savings Program (“SRP CentSaver Savings”, “Program” or “Services”), you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Definitions. In this SRP CentSaver Savings Program Terms and Conditions, the words "you," "your," and "yours" mean any individual enrolled in the Program. The words "we," "us," "our" and "Credit Union" mean SRP Federal Credit Union.
2. Agreement. The Credit Union's Program is intended to assist members in building their savings through eligible transactions and is only available to members who have a Credit Union consumer checking account with associated debit card, or such other accounts as we make available from time to time in our sole discretion.
3. Eligibility. To participate in the SRP CentSaver Savings Program, you must have an open eligible checking account (the “Checking Account”) with associated debit card at SRP Federal Credit Union. You can self-enroll in the Program via SRP Online or SRP Mobile, or through assisted enrollment at Credit Union branch locations. Participation in the Program is at the account level, which means that all qualifying debit card purchases posting to the enrolled checking account will be part of the Program. You cannot enroll or remove individual debit cards associated with your checking account. If you enroll and later receive a new debit card due to your card being lost, stolen, or reissued, your participation in the Program will continue. The Credit Union has the right to determine, in its sole discretion, whether a particular account is eligible to participate in the Program. If any of your Credit Union accounts or agreements are in default as described in the applicable governing agreement, we reserve the right to prohibit you from participating in the Program and receiving any benefits from the Program.
4. The Program. For each Eligible Transaction you make using your Credit Union debit card after enrolling in the Program, we will round up the amount of the purchase to the nearest whole dollar and transfer the excess of the purchase price to your Savings Account as a single transaction at the end of each day. Your round up amounts will default to a multiplier of 1, with the option to increase it to 2 or 5. The round up transfer description will be referred to as “SRP CentSaver” on your transaction history. All funds deposited into your Savings Account from the Program will receive the current advertised Annual Percentage Yield (APY) as disclosed on SRP Federal Credit Union’s Rate and Fee Schedule. If your Checking Account does not have sufficient available funds to round up at the time of transfer, the Credit Union will not round up purchases posted on that day. Transfers will resume for Eligible Transactions the next day on which sufficient funds are available. If your debit card purchase is subsequently cancelled or reversed, such as a returned purchase or unauthorized transaction, the corresponding daily round up transfer will remain in your Savings Account. Credit transactions or adjustment transactions will not be rounded up.
5. Eligible Transactions. Any Point-of-Sale or Bill Pay transaction using your SRP Federal Credit Union Debit Card (except ATM transactions) associated with the enrolled Checking Account shall be considered an Eligible Transaction under the Program. The following are not considered Eligible Transactions: Any cash withdrawal from an ATM or over-the-counter cash withdrawal; any online banking transaction; ACH, check or draft transaction; and electronic cash application ACH transactions.
6. Fees. We do not charge or impose a fee of any kind for your access to or use of the Program. However, you are responsible for any and all charges as outlined in the Fee Schedule.
7. Cancellation. Participation in the Program will continue until cancelled by you, as long as your accounts and your membership at the Credit Union remain eligible for the Program. You may cancel your participation at any time by contacting us using the contact information in the Contact Us section of these Terms and Conditions. Please allow up to three business days from the date of receipt of your notice of cancellation for the cancellation to take effect. You may also unenroll from the Program by visiting one of our branch locations, or via the self-service option within SRP Online or SRP Mobile. The Program and benefits are offered at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to alter or waive any Program feature or benefit, including, without limitation, participation fees or bonuses or to cancel or temporarily suspend the Program at any time.
8. Amendments. The Credit Union may revise, modify, or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time, without notice, except as required by law. Any revision, modification, or amendment shall be effective when it is posted within SRP Online or SRP Mobile, or as made available on our website. You agree to review these Terms and Conditions periodically to ensure that you are aware of any changes. Your continued use of the Program after the Terms and Conditions have been modified shall constitute your acceptance of those changes.
9. Termination. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Program if we believe you have breached these Terms and Conditions or your Membership Agreement. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue all or any part of the Service, with or without notice.
10. Disputes. You agree that any action, dispute, claim, or controversy of any nature between you and the Credit Union arising from or related to the Service will be subject to and resolved in accordance with the terms of the Credit Union's Membership Agreement as applicable to your account.
